Clovelly

Clovelly is a beautiful, picturesque fishing village, steeped in maritime atmosphere and history. It was once owned by the Queen of England!Originally the estate was owned by William the Conqueror, King of England, gifted to his wife and then had many royal associations until 1242 when first acquired by the Giffard family. Combe Martin Dinosaur Park

Family run wildlife & dinosaur park set in a Combe Martin valley over 28 acres of spectacular gardens within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty!As well as wolves.sea lions, primates, penguins and more the park is known for it's impressive models of gigantic dinosaur and playzone.

Dartington Crystal 

The new Visitor Experience houses an updated and upgraded Timeline Exhibition of Dartington Crystal’s products spanning over 50 years of history from 1967 to the present day. A creative team of in-house staff have been working tirelesslyto make something quite special, something that is both a leisure experience as well as being a lasting archive of some of the wonderful craftmanship of its North Devon’s glass makers.See glassmaking demonstrations in a newly installed studio furnace area and masterful engraving right before your eyes.

Exmoor Zoo

Exmoor Zoo is a conservation centre in Exmoor, North Devon, England. The zoo developed from Exmoor Bird Gardens, opened on the site of a farm in 1982. The current owners took over in 1993, and have enlarged and developed the zoo, now specialising in the conservation of smaller animals. The zoo has been a member of BIAZA, the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums, since 1995 and recently became a member of EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquariums) in 2018.

Hartland Abbey

Hartland Abbey with its beautiful gardens and grounds is the cherished home of the Stucley family with treasures and memorabilia collected over many generations. The beautiful 18thC Walled and Woodland gardens, the walks and the parkland provide visitors with extensive grounds through which to wander and enjoy the stunning valley leading down to the rugged Atlantic cove and cottage at Blackpool Mill, the location for many notable films. Ilfracombe Aquarium

lfracombe Aquarium consists of Local Aquatic Exhibits, Pier Café & Gift Shop. It is a much loved, award winning, and ever evolving, all-weather, family fun, educational attraction. It is located in the Old Lifeboat House on the pier. Conveniently located, it is surrounded by Ilfracombe’s picturesque & historic harbour which is home to Damien Hirst’s Verity sculpture and 14th century St. Nicholas’ Chapel.

Ilfracombe Museum

Ilfracombe museum, the home of the town's heritage is an eclectic collection from the town, the sea and further continents beyond! Master the controls of the Morse code ship-to-shore radio and send your own messages, watch as the 300 year old clock strikes the hour, uncover the horrors of the bat cave, if you dare! Lundy Island

Lundy lies off the coast of North Devon, where the Atlantic ocean meets the Bristol Channel with nothing between it and America, a granite outcrop, three miles long and half a mile wide. In the hubbub of the modern world, it is a place apart, peaceful and unspoiled.

Lynton and Lynmouth Railway

The only steam railway in the UK where passengers travel in Victorian railway carriages designed in the 1890s. 

Marwood Hill Garden

This magical and very special 20 acre private garden with three lakes is set in a valley tucked away in North Devon only 4 miles from Barnstaple. Created by Dr Jimmy Smart VMH in the late 1950’s the gardens are a wonderful haven in which to relax and enjoy the impressive collections of plants, shrubs and trees and experience the views and peaceful atmosphere.

Quince Honey Farm

Quince Honey Farm is a working honey farm and a great day out for all the family, including your four-legged friends! From guided tours, soft play and beautiful gardens through to exclusive beekeeping experiences, there’s plenty to keep everyone happy including their shop and cafe

St Nicholas Chapel

This iconic little chapel perched on Lantern Hill overlooking Ilfracombe’s historic harbour, was first built in the 14th Century and was named St Nicholas after the patron saint of sailors.The chapel is now a Grade 1 listed building and is regarded as a special place of interest within the town and is an iconic landmark overlooking the harbour

Tarka Trail

Inspired by Tarka The Otter, The Tarka Trail is an 180 mile, figure eight loop exploring all the diversity and beauty North Devon has to offer.Footpaths and bridlewats will take you through unspoiled countryside with breathtaking views of the sea, villages and beaches

The Milky Way

Tunnel Beaches

The Verity Statue

Hoisted into place in 2012 this 66 foot stainless steel and bronze sculpture named Verity, created by world famous artist Damien Hirst, stands on the pier at the entrance to the harbour looking out over the Bristol Channel towards South Wales. It has been loaned to the town for 20 years. The name of the piece refers to “truth” and Hirst describes his work as a “modern allegory of truth and justice”.

Watermouth Castle 

Discover a full family day out at one of Devon's top attractions!
